Gulf Hotel (Oman) Company limited SAOG signs Crowne Plaza Muscat Refurbishment Contract.

Gulf Hotel (Oman) Company limited SAOG are glad to sign the Renovation Construction Contract with Douglas OHI LLC, Civil Engineering & Building Contractors for the Crowne Plaza Muscat Refurbishment works on Wednesday, 14th March 2018.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Board of Directors of Gulf Hotel (Oman) Company limited SAOG, Douglas OHI representatives, and Hoehler + alSalmy’s (H+S) delegates as the Design Consultants of the project.

The Management is eager to revamp the hotel to a new standard with the implementation of a local but modern design as a main focus, taking into consideration Crowne Plaza’s Corporate Identity Standards.

The construction work is scheduled to start on 15th May 2018 and expected to be completed by 31 August 2018. The challenging construction contract include the rebuilding of the entire pool area, including a new state of the art 2 level infinity pool, an extension of the three-existing restaurants with an added new café, emphasizing on the full terrace space to highlight the stunning beach-front view. The main all-day dining restaurant is also being redesigned and extended, along with a new reception area. This would be supplemented by a new contemporary designed façade of the building, to go with the refreshing new look of the entire hotel.
