SIM: A New Era of Smart, Integrated Project Delivery Begins

Douglas OHI is proud to announce the official launch of Systems Integration & Management (SIM), a wholly owned subsidiary delivering end-to-end Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation (PMEI) solutions across Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Originally registered in 2018, SIM was acquired by Douglas OHI as part of a strategic move to expand its regional capabilities and integrated service offering. The formal launch under Douglas OHI now brings renewed focus, investment, and market visibility, establishing SIM as a trusted and capable delivery partner.

Built on over 45 years of operational and technical excellence, SIM combines deep engineering expertise, regional experience, and a forward-looking approach to serve the evolving needs of the oil & gas, petrochemical, desalination, and industrial sectors.

Developed in response to growing demand for high-quality, integrated engineering and construction services, SIM has been purposefully designed with agility and innovation at its core. Leveraging advanced digital tools, predictive analytics, and automation technologies, SIM supports EPC contractors and subcontractors in delivering smarter, faster, and more efficient projects.

“The launch of SIM is a strategic milestone in our continued evolution as a group,” said Aaron Hennessy, Group Managing Director, Douglas OHI. “By integrating SIM’s capabilities into our wider portfolio, we’re enhancing our ability to deliver complete solutions, strengthening our responsiveness, technical depth, and long-term value to clients.”

Although wholly owned by Douglas OHI, SIM will operate as a standalone entity, ensuring the flexibility and autonomy required to respond to market needs with precision and focus.

With multidisciplinary expertise spanning design, execution, commissioning, and asset management, SIM delivers fully integrated solutions aligned with the highest safety, quality, and environmental standards. From sophisticated control systems to predictive maintenance, SIM connects every stage of project delivery to drive efficiency and performance.

“SIM is built for today’s industrial challenges,” said Mr. Anil Kumar, Regional Director. “With a focus on collaboration, digitalisation, and technical excellence, we are well-positioned to support complex projects across the region while maintaining an uncompromising commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.”

Rooted in a values-led culture of innovation and teamwork, SIM empowers its people to think boldly, act decisively, and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and communities.

As SIM officially launches under Douglas OHI, it represents more than a new subsidiary, it signals a bold step forward in shaping the future of integrated construction solutions in the region.
