Omanisation

Douglas OHI is proud to serve within the Sultanate of Oman and actively do what we can to develop the nation's future.

In line with Royal Decrees we aim to recruit, train, develop and retain a national workforce which complies with the requirements of the Omanisation Policy.

The Company currently has Omanis working within every facet of the organisation including Administration, Accounts, Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Engineering & Planning, Business Development, QA/QC Engineers and Skilled Tradesmen such as Carpenters, Steel Fixers and Mechanics. Many more opportunities exist within the Company for willing and enthusiastic Omanis.

To support our Omanisation Strategy we are developing our graduate and skills training in order to ensure good quality jobs for our Omani workforce and real management opportunities for graduates.

Relationships with local colleges and universities will ensure that high quality work experience and training is provided for the workforce and management of the future.
